Life Hasn’t Always Been Kind. But It’s Always Been A Teacher.
I'm not someone who had it all figured out from the start. In fact, quite the opposite. My life has been shaped by challenges that most people wouldn't wish on anyone, and it's those very challenges that made me who I am today.
I grew up learning early on that life doesn't come with a manual. There were times when I felt completely lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of whether things would ever get better. But something inside me refused to give up.
That stubborn refusal to quit led me down a path of self-discovery. I started writing, not because I thought I was a great writer, but because I needed to make sense of my own story. What came out of that process became my first book, and then my second, and then my third.
Along the way, people started asking me to share my story publicly. The first time I stood on a stage and spoke honestly about my struggles, I saw something incredible happen: people in the audience started to see themselves in my story. They started to believe that if I could come through the other side, so could they.
That's what drives me. Not the applause, not the book sales, the genuine human connection that happens when someone feels seen and understood. When someone walks away from one of my talks or finishes one of my books thinking, "I can do this."
